Go Gentle: An Introduction to Mindfulness Course for BIPOC

Go Gentle: An Introduction to Mindfulness Course for BIPOC

from $75.00

Go Gentle is a six week mindfulness course designed to introduce you to foundations of mindfulness practice – in its many forms and flavors. Mindfulness is so much more than meditation. Mindfulness is the practice of purposefully paying attention to the present moment with an energy of gentleness, care, and curiosity. The practice of mindfulness cultivates wellbeing and liberation on an individual and collective level.

“We go far and we go gentle.”

- Hiatus Kaiyote

This course might be a good fit for you if…

  • You are curious about mindfulness and want to find out for yourself what it’s all about – especially if you think you “can’t” meditate.

  • You go through life “in your head” and feel a sense of disconnection from your body.

  • You have a tendency to be hard on yourself or have a loud inner critic.

  • You deal with chronic pain or struggle to inhabit your body, as it is right now.

  • You find yourself struggling to navigate the intensity of these times.

  • You have some experience with mindfulness and want to deepen your knowledge and your practice.

This course is designed for communities of color. And within that, this class is dedicated to the weirdos, queerdos, and neurospicy folx who are hard on themselves. It's for the perfectionists and for the heartbroken. For the anxious worriers and the overthinkers.

With practice, mindfulness builds our capacity to meet life – in all its highs and lows, ups and downs – with clarity, curiosity, and care.

Life is hard enough. What would your life look like if you felt more ease and spaciousness? What would it look like if your inner space was just a little more gentle?
